Mrs. Annette Michelle Thornton, 60, of St. Marys, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, in Brunswick.
Mrs. Thornton was born on Jan. 21, 1961, in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the daughter of Bruce Harlow and Tanya Hawes.
Mrs. Thornton is survived by her husband, Robert Thornton Jr. of St. Marys.; her children, Angela Thornton and Robert Thornton, both of St. Marys; her parents, Bruce Harlow of Georgia and Tanya Hawes of Virginia; her sisters, Jannette (Jeff) Haskins of Boydton, Virginia, and Laura (Dell) Penn of Norfolk, Virginia; her brother, Randy Hawes of Jackson, Mississippi; and her grandson, Chance Davis of St. Marys; and her beloved dog, Stella.
Mrs. Thornton was preceded in passing by her brother, Rayce Hawes.
A visitation for the Thornton Family will be Saturday, Oct. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland. A celebration of Mrs. Thornton’s life will follow immediately at 2 p.m. in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Mike Roddy presiding.
