Turney

Aaron M. Turney, 60, of St. Marys passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System on Sept. 5, 2021.

Aaron was born on May 25, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, to Wallace and Tommie Turney.

He is survived by his mother, Tommie Peters of Kingsland; a stepmother, Jean L. Turney of St. Marys; brothers, Wallace A Turney Jr. (Lisa), Carl Turney (Teresa), both of St. Marys; two stepbrothers, Frederick Schneider of St. Marys and Robert Schneider of Zephyrhills, Florida (Betsy); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Anthony Turney Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 with pastor James Roberson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior starting at 4 p.m.
