Previs Lydell Walker Jr., 28, of St. Marys passed away at the Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday, July 9, 2021.
Previs was born on June 19, 1993, to Previs Walker Sr. and Cicely Geter in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Previs, also known as “PreddieBoi ’PJayy,” graduated from Camden County High School in 2011 and attended a year of higher level education at the College of Coastal Georgia. He was employed with Home 2 Suites in Jacksonville, Florida, as a customer service representative.
Previs loved music, singing, and spending time with family and friends. He dressed to impress, was quick-witted and entered every room with a contagious smile.
Previs was preceded in death by Nancy “Aunt NaNa” Hubbard-Waye, Elijah Foreman Jr., Simon Walker, and Clinton Geter.
Previs is survived by his loving and devoted mother and father, Cicely Campbell and Previs (Victoria) Walker, Sr.; four sisters, Aubrey Walker, Gabrielle “Tootie” Campbell, Madison Walker and McKenzie Walker; grandmothers, Beverly Blackmon and Judith Ann Foreman; great-grandparents, Herbert and Lottie Hamilton; aunts, Nichelle (Shelby) Mewborn, Tomeka Livingston, Carolyn Blackmon, Ann Walker and Josephine Howard; uncles, Rodriquez (Debra) Hamilton Sr. and Nikita (Rebekah) Geter; godparents, Kevin and Sharon Grant; godbrothers, Kevin Malik Grant, Marlon Grant and Jordan Hardy; goddaughter, Braelynn Jackson; special first cousins, T’keysha Carter, Jasmine Mewborn, Rodriquez Hamilton, Jameria Hamilton, Kaya Mewborn, Dylann Blackmon, Jessica Mewborn and many others who loved him.
Services to celebrate the life of Previs Lydell Walker, Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2021 at Impact Worship Center, 1000 E. King Ave., Kingsland. There will be no wake. A public viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m., the day of the service. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
COVID 19 policies are still in effect. Masks are required.
