Why did you go into your particular field? My parents told me if I wasn’t going to college I had to do something.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I never had a career in mind. I just wanted to work.
What was your first job? My parents had multiple businesses growing up, and we always helped however we could there. My first real job was scooping ice cream at Sweet Temptations in Pen Argyl, Pa.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? “It’ll work or it won’t.” We can only control what we can control with the tools we have.
What is your favorite thing about your job? Interacting with customers, and forming a community.
What do you know how that you wish you knew when you first your career? How to manually defrost the coils on a walk-in freezer and how to snake a drain.
Who do you consider to be your greatest mentor and why? My parents have always been hard workers and very much get-it-done people. I’m so thankful to have them for support and to answer my calls when I don’t know what to do.
When you’re not at work, what do you do to relax? I go to the gym or the beach. I’m almost always with my friends or family.
What is something about you that most people don’t know? I love Taylor Swift.
How do you hope to grow in your career? I look forward to more events in Kingsland and Woodbine.
If you couldn’t do what you’re doing now, what would you be doing? I’d love to have a travel podcast of small cities in Georgia, like St. Marys, where I could advise people on what to do, where to eat and where to stay.
