Why did you go into your particular field? My father, and now mother, is in the business. I sort of always knew this is what I wanted to do.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Originally a pilot, but that changed by my teenage years.
What was your first job? Cart staff at Laurel Island Links.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? If you give respect, you will get respect.
What’s your favorite thing about your job? I would say it's the relationships that you have with your clients. As well as helping them with whatever I can do, to make the insurance process the easiest for them.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when you first started your career? Communication is key.
Who do you consider to be your greatest mentor and why? Absolutely my Dad. Not only in business, but in my everyday life as well.
When you’re not at work, what do you do to relax? I hangout with my wife and daughter, and occasionally I lose a lot of golf balls on the course.
How do you hope to grow in your career? In my knowledge. The industry is always changing, and I hope that I can continue to adapt to the change, and continue to be successful in helping our community with their insurance needs.
If you couldn’t do what you’re doing now, what would you be doing? I'm really not sure. As I said previously, this is what I've wanted to do. I have not really thought about if this did not work out.
