The Camden County High School varsity football team was defeated in the first round of the state playoffs Friday, Nov. 27, in a heartbreaking overtime loss against Parkview, 24-17.

The  Camden County Wildcats raked in another victory last Friday against Oakleaf, winning with a score of 25-12. “I thought it was an outstanding win against a really good football team,” said head coach Bob Sphire of the Camden County High School varsity football team.

With the defending Georgia state 7A champions coming to Chris Gilman Stadium Friday evening, Wildcat fans were hoping for a good game between two great football programs and they were not disappointed. 

Wildcats come back with a win against Glynn

Despite having a rough start in their first game, Camden County Wildcats varsity football team was able to turn that around in their second game against Glynn Academy with a score of 31-14. 

Home opener set for Friday

The Camden County High School varsity football team will hold its home opener tomorrow night against Richmond Hill in the annual Frank Smith Classic.  

PSA suspends all sports programs

The Camden County PSA has announced that all youth programs, including baseball, softball, T-ball, track and gymnastics will be postponed for two weeks, through April 3.
