Growth outlook encouraging for CCHS volleyball

The future of Camden County High volleyball was busy serving, setting and spiking at the Ninth-Grade Center last week. CCHS players and coaches led middle-schoolers and younger campers in instruction, some participants perhaps eyeing chances to one day shine as Lady Wildcats.

Busy summer is ahead for ’Cat boys hoopsters

The Camden County High boys hoopsters will hit the ground running next week, as a busy June schedule tips the scales at 30 games, according to head coach David Bailey. “The summer is a direct reflection of how your season is going to go,” said Bailey, ahead of his fourth season in Kingsland.

Green places sixth, eighth at state 6A track and field meet

Camden County High track and field athlete Sean Green placed in the top-eight in three events Tuesday at the Class 6A state meet Tuesday in Athens.  At the University of Georgia, Green finished sixth in both the long jump (23-0.75) and 200 dash (21.82), plus eighth in the 100 sprint (11.01).
