Cities, county agree on LOST fund distribution

In a close vote Tuesday evening, Camden County commissioners approved the certification of Local Option Sales Tax distribution. County Commissioners Trevor Readdick and Chuck Clark voted in opposition in the 3-2 vote, but neither spoke about the issue when it was brought before the commission.

Camden County sues Union Carbide

Another lawsuit has been filed tied to the controversial Spaceport Camden. On July 27, the Camden County Board of County Commissioners sued Union Carbide, alleging breach of contract in selling the land in which the county proposes to construct the spaceport.
