On Monday night, St. Marys City Manager Robby Horton held the first of three planned information sessions about the proposed massive development by timber company Rayonier’s real-estate arm, Raydient. A second information session was scheduled for Wednesday, and a third information session is 4 p.

Scores of law enforcement officials and concerned parents descended on Camden County High School after a school shooting hoax was reported to the Camden County E-911 Center on Wednesday morning. Visibly angry and upset parents waited in front of the school at about 9:45 a.m.

The St. Marys City Council took time at Tuesday’s public meeting to defend its work with Raydient LLC and other development measures, against continued wariness. Though this time, a couple of development supporters spoke up to support them.
