Photo contest winners revealed

The Camden County Board of Commissioners has announced the winners of the 2022 Showcase Camden County Photo Contest. This year, 70 entries from 24 applicants were submitted in the following categories: Landscapes, Nature/Wildlife, Sunrise/Sunset and Transportation.

Sheriff’s office K-9s trained for diverse roles

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office’s police dogs are a common sight on television or at community events around the county. But people may wonder how they are trained. “I think every agency needs K-9 units,” said Sgt. Ryan Sullivan, a handler who also oversees the narcotics dogs’ training.
