Kingsland Police Department capture out-of-state murder suspect

A traffic stop Monday by the Kingsland Police Department resulted in an out-of-state homicide suspect being detained, according to a news release from the law enforcement agency. According to Kingsland police, a patrol unit stopped a 2021 Kia Sorento that was traveling over the speed limit.

U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter was in the majority on two major votes in the last week. On Nov. 12, Carter voted in favor of a bill to reopen the government – ending the 43-day shutdown that saw citizens lose SNAP benefits and some government employees not receive pay.

The Camden County High football program will have new leadership next season. Camden County Schools Superintendent Tracolya Green has relieved Travis Roland of his duties as the Wildcats’ head coach after two seasons on the sidelines, effective immediately.
