Chambliss

Matthew Daryl Chambliss, 38, native of St. Marys, passed away early Saturday morning, May 22, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Matthew was born Oct. 2, 1983, in Jacksonville to Patrick Anthony and Sandra Robin Crews Chambliss. He had lived in St. Marys all of his life, recently moving to Jacksonville. He was a graduate of Camden County High School and was employed by Anheuser-Busch in Jacksonville. He was an avid car enthusiast and a member of The Labyrinth Car Club. He enjoyed traveling and loved his niece Rylynn.

Survivors include his parents, Sandy and Tony Chambliss; a sister, Nikki Chambliss Daneker; and niece, Rylynn Daneker, all of St. Marys.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at Allison Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, at Westside Baptist Church in St. Marys with Rev. James Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Steve Wahl, Mike Glogg, Troy Pittman, Adam Semidei, Cortez Holiday and Onix Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Rigdon, Maxwell Rigson and his favorite uncle Jeff Chambliss.
