Mr. Charles L. Clark Sr., 75, passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, in Brunswick.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1947, in Woodbine to the late Wilson and Sara Clark and was the youngest of three. Buford (Betty Jean) and Tommy (Beverly) Clark were his older brothers.

Mr. Clark was the sweetest, most kind and humblest person you would ever meet. He was such a good man who loved his family. His strength, independence, love of family and strong Christian faith were notable parts of the beautiful tapestry of his life. He leaves behind an enduring legacy in the character of his many loving family members.

Besides camping with his family on numerous trips and adventures he enjoyed football, NASCAR racing and baseball. He even owned his own race car in his earlier years. Many days you would see him on his tractor moving dirt or working on a project in his yard. He was a faithful employee at Gilman Paper Company for over 30 years and enjoyed being a public servant for the county as a county commissioner for four years.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife Sandra Wildes Clark of 55 blessed years of marriage; also his children, Charles (Juanita) Clark and Josh (Alana) Clark both of Woodbine; his grandchildren, Sara (NiKo) Kolgaklis, Lindsey (David) Dunn,

Emily (Nick) Benroth, Hannah Clark, CJ (Addy) Clark, Leslie Clark, Sadie Clark; his great-grandchildren, Raelynn Dunn,

Easton Kolgaklis and Grey Benroth; and his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
