Evelyn Faye Davis, 83, of Kingsland passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021, at The Lakes Crossing in Kingsland.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Allison Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 5, at Allison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vernon Dillingham and Pastor Brian Parker officiating. Serving as active pallbearers will be Mike Price, Paul Chamberlin, Cody Gibson, Kyle Carswell, Doug White and Gary Allen Jr. Burial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Upper Mill Creek Cemetery in Statesboro. 

Survivors include her children, Terrence Davis (Sissie) of Kingsland, Paula Chamberlin (Paul) of Kingsland and Regina Faye Davis of Kingsland; a brother, Gary Allen Sr. (Janet) of Folkston; grandchildren, Brandi, Codi, Ashlyn, Kara, Ashley H., Ashley G. and John Paul; great-grandchildren, Coleby, Skylar, Bentlee, Braylee, Colton, Ava and Greyson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Davis, and parents, Leonard and Evelyn Allen.

Evelyn was born Sept. 13, 1937, in Statesboro to Leonard and Evelyn Akins Allen and was an active member of the Register Baptist Church in her early years. Coming from Savannah, she had lived in Kingsland since 1961 and was an active member in her church community and First Baptist Church of Kingsland and a member of the Kingsland Women's Club. She was a good friend to all, an amazing mom and a wonderful nana.
