Helen Lang DeVries, 94, of Kingsland passed away April 13, 2021, after a brief illness. 

Helen was born in Passaic, New Jersey, on July 16, 1926. She was married to Kenneth DeVries. They made their home in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, where they raised their three children. In 2005, she moved to Kingsland where she spent many happy years enjoying the warm weather and sunshine in the company of her daughters who also retired to Kingsland.

She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church, most recently as a member of St. Marys United Methodist Church.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ken; her daughter Debbie Farinella; son-in-law, Bob Stickman; and daughter-in-law, Lisa DeVries.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Stickman of Kingsland; son, Kenneth DeVries of Spencer, Massachusetts; as well as her grandchildren and their families, Jeanine and Andrew Labonte and their daughter Elyse of Amherst, New Hampshire; Alicia and Eric Hashey of Spencer; Kenneth and Justina DeVries and their children Kenneth and Amelia of Charlton, Massachusetts; and Daniel DeVries of Waltham, Massachusetts.

Her family extends their gratitude and endless appreciation to her neighbors, Mary Jane Wojcik and Gram Spivey, who were always willing to lend a hand, allowing Helen to live in her home and maintain her independence until her passing.
