Ms. Sadie Nettles Rogers Graham, 86, passed peacefully from this earth into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the evening of Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System in St. Marys surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Graham was born on Nov. 2, 1934, in Grover, South Carolina, to the late Lawrence (Barney) and Rosa Lee (Carson) Nettles.

Ms. Graham and her husband (Eldon Rogers, aka “Koolaide”) who preceded her in death in 1976, moved to St. Marys in 1957. She was a faithful member and original founding family of New Hope Baptist Church until she remarried and moved to Florida in 1978. Upon the death of her second husband, Paul Graham, she returned to St. Marys in 1996. She resided in St. Marys until her death. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church for many years.

Ms. Graham is survived by her children, Allen (Laura) Rogers and Darlene Ellis, all of St. Marys; Debbie (William) Butt of Beaufort, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Dana Rogers Flanagan, Rachael Rogers Brooks, Evan Rogers, Allen Butt, David Butt and Michael Ellis; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Lowder, St. George, South Carolina, Doris Nettles, Cordova, South Carolina; and brother Tommy Nettles, Lexington, South Carolina; along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private memorial service will be held by the family in Sampson County, North Carolina, where she will join her first husband, Eldon Rogers of the late Allie Rogers and Hattie Mathis Rogers, for earthly rest.

Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland is entrusted with Ms. Graham’s arrangements.
