Holzendorf

Earl “Chuck” Holzendorf, 74, of Kingsland suddenly departed his earthly life on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at UF Health, Jacksonville, Florida.

Earl "Chuck" Holzendorf was born on Dec. 27, 1946, in Camden County to the late Arthur James Holzendorf and Margaret Ree Way-Hubbard. Chuck was the first of five siblings. 

Chuck accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted servant of God. He was an honorable member of Evergreen Missionary  Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and as a member of the usher board. Chuck was educated in the public schools of Camden County, where he graduated from Ralph J. Bunche High School, with the Class of 1968. He was employed 32 years with Terminal Bag Plant in Yulee, Florida.

Chuck was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and neighbor. He loved his family, attending Sunday school and ushering. 

Chuck leaves his memories to be cherished by his daughter, Timeka Knowles; two grandchildren, Tre'Barrius and Ebony Hannah; two great-grandchildren, Ta'Riyah Hannah and TyRell Alexander Jackson Jr., all of Quincy, Florida; four siblings, Andrew Holzendorf, Beatrice Bailey (Theodis), Patricia Harvey (Elvis Ricky Sr.) all of South Bay, Florida, and Dennis Hubbard (Latrice) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; aunts, Elvenia Williams, Kingland, Annie Mae Gathers, Sanford, Florida, and Gertude Blake, Syracuse, New York; devoted cousins, Leonard Taylor, Adel James, Bessie Baker and Louvenia Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
