Janice Lanell Jones, 48, of St. Marys passed away early Saturday morning, May 22, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Janice was born July 6, 1972, in Groton, Connecticut, to Rick and Chloe Ann Newman Jones. She had lived in St. Marys since 1988 and had lived in various places during her father's U.S. Navy career.  She was a 1990 graduate of Camden County High School and had recently worked in hotel management. Janice was an avid car enthusiast and was a member of the Labyrinth Car Club. She enjoyed taking cruises, traveling, reading and loved her family.

Janice is survived by her parents, Rick and Koko Jones; a sister, Jennifer Garman (Jason); and nieces and nephew, Claire, Elle and Grant Garman, all of St. Marys.

Memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society in memory of Janice Lanell Jones.
