Louis Minvielle Lambremont, born July 23, 1945, in New Orleans, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Louis was one of eight children. He was a devout Catholic with a very kind and tender heart and a sense of humor and quick wit that kept his sons and their families entertained. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Lou attended Southeastern Louisiana College, where he met the love of his life, Freddie Anne. They were married for 54 years, sharing great fun and companionship. Lou loved reading, taking long walks and gardening with Freddie, eating good New Orleans cuisine, golfing and being with family.
He was an executive with Sea-Land, which became CSX and then Maersk Line Limited. He retired in 2005 and said every day how much he loved being retired.
Lou is survived by his wife; sons, Louis Jr. (Erin) and Jack (Marie): and grandchildren, Katie, John, Elizabeth and Olivia Lambremont.
Internment will take place in New Orleans at a later date.
