Joseph Rocco Milicia, 24, of Kingsland passed away April 11, 2021, in Ponte Vedra, Florida.

Joseph was born Aug. 12, 1996, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Frank Rocco and Danette Mask Milicia.  Coming from Honolulu, he had lived in Kingsland for the past 17 years. He was a 2014 graduate of Camden County High School and was Camden County High's mascot Willie Wildcat. He was a member of DECA and Key Club.

After graduation, he attended College of Coastal Georgia and was a vet tech with Pet Doctors of America in Jacksonville, Florida, and had worked at Banfield Pet Hospital in Jacksonville. Joseph loved the beach and loved cooking and especially loved eating in fine dining restaurants. He was passionate about politics and was a beautiful person inside and out.

Joseph is survived by his parents, Frank and DeDe Milicia of Kingsland; brother, Jonathan Milicia of Callahan, Florida; sister, Meredith Milicia Hall (Blake) of Dinsmore, Florida; his partner, Benjamin Riggs of Nashville; and grandparents, Margaret McDonald (Rusty) of St. Marys and Anthony Milicia of Maxton, North Carolina.

Family and friends will gather from 5 until 6 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Allison Memorial Chapel to celebrate Joseph's life.
