Scott

Sidney Steven Scott, 72, of Woodbine passed away at his residence on July 10, 2021.

Sidney was born on Jan. 28, 1949, to the late Donald and Sara Scott. He served for 20 years in the military, where he was a medic for the United States Army. He held two degrees in bachelors of science and arts. He served in Vietnam and was a disabled veteran. He was a member of the Woodbine Lions club, member of the NRA, loved to hunt and fish and was a certified advanced diver. Sidney was a great husband, father and grandfather. He treated his family so well and loved everyone.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Barbara Scott; his children, Jennifer Lynn Scott (Dave) of Silver Springs, Connecticut, Adam Scott, of Louisville, Kentucky, Pamela Tonge (Robert) of Litchfield, Kentucky, Dennis Gaines (Mary) of Louisville, Kentucky, Wesley Gaines (Carla) of McRoberts, Kentucky, Joseph Gaines (Tanis) of Louisville, Kentuck; siblings, Kathy Grant (Gary) of Rockwell, Texas, Miles Scott of Blythewood, South Carolina, and Rebecca Bonnett of Kingsland. He has 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
