Cal Edwin Way, 66, of Yulee (Sandhill community), Florida, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at Baptist South Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida.

Cal was born on May 26, 1955, in Fairfax County, Virginia, to the late Mary Alice and John Way. Cal attended the Camden County School System. He later attended architecture trading school, where he earned his degree. Later on in his life he accomplished obtaining his commercial drivers license and became a truck driver for seven years.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary Way; brothers, Glenn and Michael; and sister, Linda Haskins.

Cal leaves to cherish his memory, his most devoted, loving and caring wife, Ruby Way; children, Caleshia Santrian Way of Virginia, Nakyah Clark (Jarvis) of Georgia, Reginald (Anna), Shayla, and Ariyanna; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Doris, Shirley, Rhonda (Gary), Tammy, Angie, Jackie, Barbara, Harold (Denise), Erine, Lonnie, Joseph, and Charles; a special sister-in-law, Judy Lizzamore; a special niece, Lashonda Johnson; and a host of host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Kinlaw Cemetery, 319 Old Still Road, Kingsland. A public, walk-thru visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
