Barbara "Bobbi" Williams, 88, of St. Marys, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at Senior Care Center of St. Marys.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Kingsland, with her son, Rev. Donald Williams, officiating. Visitation for family and friends was held from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bobbi was born July 15, 1933, to James and Nina Fowler Hunt. She was retired from Cummins Engine Company of Charleston, South Carolina, and had lived in Camden County since 2001. 

After moving to Camden County, she was a volunteer in the Human Resources Department of Southeast Georgia Health System's Camden Campus, where she received Volunteer of the Year. Bobbi was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Throughout her husband‘s Air Force career, she and her husband were influential in planting several Baptist churches throughout the United States, Japan and England.

Survivors include her husband, Don Williams (USAF, Ret.); their children, Doug Williams (Kim), of Inman, South Carolina, Donald Williams (Ginny) of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and Dale Williams (Karen) of St. Marys; grandchildren, Josh Williams (Stephanie), Zach Williams (Kendall), Ashley Engel (Josh), Andrew Williams (Abbie), Emily Lewis (Brian), James Williams (Jackie), Caleb Williams (Elizabeth), Nathan Williams (Brooke) and Daniel Williams; as well as, numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Hunt, and a great-grandson, Montgomery Fox.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Samaritan's Purse — Operation Christmas Child, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
