Wimberly

Kenneth “Ray” Wimberly, 31, of St. Marys, passed away May 11, 2021.

Ray was born Nov. 27, 1989, in Lakeland, Florida, to Joseph Larry Wimberly and Helen McAnally Wimberly. He had lived in St. Marys for the past 26 years. He had attended Camden County High School and was employed with Take 5 Oil Change. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents, Lyndon and Helen Richardson of St. Marys; grandmothers, Shirley Watson of Wildwood, Florida, and Mary McAnally of Waycross; brothers and sisters, John McAnally (Sherrie) of Browntown, Tina Clay (Jonathon) of St. Marys, Larry Wimberly (Teri) of Mooresville, North Carolina, and Rebecca Richardson (Kevin Hand) of St. Marys; aunts and uncles, Debbie Stephens of Everglades City, Florida, Billy Jo Sutton (Kenneth) of St. Marys and Mary Yarber (Dennis) Zephyrhills, Florida; nieces and nephews, Angelina, Alaina, Brennden, Kaiden, Bryson and Braylen.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Larry Wimberly; his grandfather, John McAnally; and nephews Sebastian and Caleb.
