Camden County Board of Commissioners, which has been seeking a launch site operator license for a former industrial site at Harrietts Bluff for the past several years, now awaits a Record of Decision from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

St. Marys is cleaning up after a tornado on Wednesday evening ripped a path from the downtown area to the RV park at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base on the other side of town. 

GBI investigating fatal officer-involved shooting

GBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting today that happened last night in Kingsland at a Gross Road apartment. A Kingsland police officer shot and killed a man who was threatening a woman with a knife.
