Dawn Eggleston, 61, of Kingsland is accused making false statements in an attempt to defraud the government of $830,354.20 while representing local nonprofit, Our Daily Bread Inc. Eggleston was arrested Friday, July 16 after being indicted by a Camden County grand jury the day before.

A tax millage rate increase is not planned this year for countywide or unincorporated property owners, according to the county’s chief financial officer.  Camden County Board of Commissioners approved the fiscal year 2022 budget during a regular meeting last week in Woodbine.
