GBI reopens 1985 murder investigation

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office have reopened a 1985 murder investigation after new DNA evidence that possibly links another suspect to the crime came to light a few weeks ago.

Coming soon: call — or text — during an emergency

Camden County 911 Center will soon be able to accept texts, in addition to phone calls, from those who need help during an emergency.  County commissioners unanimously approved the upgrade to the dispatch center during a remotely held meeting on Tuesday, May 5.
