Hurricane Debby won’t be remembered in Camden County for her ferocity, but she certainly brought a lot of rain Monday and Tuesday.

Season closure puts eyes again on federal red snapper policy

As of Tuesday, no one can legally keep a red snapper harvested from waters from North Carolina to the Florida Keys. The recreational season lasted one day, July 12, and the commercial season closed this week because of vessels hitting the annual catch limit before the end of the year.
