Camden County voters overwhelmingly voted to support SPLOST IX, renewing the special sales tax for another six years. Of the 2,667 people who cast ballots, 1,624 (60.89%) voted in support of SPLOST IX. Only 6.92% of registered voters cast ballots on the referendum.
