Former deputy indicted again

The state is pursuing a perjury case against a former Camden County deputy after dismissing the charges in a related case on the eve of trial. The grand jury indicted Christopher Prosen for perjury in court documents dated Feb. 13.

Construction booming in Kingsland

Development is still booming in Kingsland with several new structures under construction.  One of the most significant of these is the Coastal Pines Technical College campus off May Creek Drive in Kingsland, which is on track for completion this summer.

Council delays decision on storm water utility

After nearly 45 minutes of discussion, St. Marys City Council delayed a decision for 90 days on an ordinance establishing a storm water utility. The city has long discussed creating a utility or enterprise fund to help mitigate drainage issues and set up a committee last spring to study the issue.
