I-95 fatalities stall traffic for hours

Interstate 95 and some of its arteries in Camden County were clogged up on Saturday after two fatal accidents with multiple injuries caused detours and hours-long delays for thousands of drivers.

Nonprofit director accused of attempted theft

Dawn Eggleston, 61, of Kingsland is accused making false statements in an attempt to defraud the government of $830,354.20 while representing local nonprofit, Our Daily Bread Inc. Eggleston was arrested Friday, July 16 after being indicted by a Camden County grand jury the day before.

The tornado entered St. Marys along Norris Street, which suffered significant residential and tree damage.

GBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting today that happened last night in Kingsland at a Gross Road apartment. A Kingsland police officer shot and killed a man who was threatening a woman with a knife. Kingsland officers responded at 10:49 p.m.
