Bird lovers can enjoy educational and fun activities this spring at Camden County Audubon Society’s annual festival known as Woodstork, planned for April 11-12. Billed as coastal Georgia’s premier birding festival, the event will be based at Shelter No. 2 at Crooked River State Park in St. Marys.

Voters approve SPLOST IX referendum

Camden County voters overwhelmingly voted to support SPLOST IX, renewing the special sales tax for another six years. Of the 2,667 people who cast ballots, 1,624 (60.89%) voted in support of SPLOST IX. Only 6.92% of registered voters cast ballots on the referendum.
