At the Aug. 15 regular meeting, the Camden County Board of Commissioners recognized the Georgia Department of Transportation for its $750,000 contribution to improvements on Horse Stamp Church Road.

A 41-year-old Kingsland man is behind bars and charged with killing his spouse, according to a news release from the Kingsland Police Department. Octavin Devon Grace was booked into the Camden County Jail at 9:51 p.m.

Camden commissioners approve multiple road-related contracts

Camden County commissioners approved a spate of road-related items Tuesday, Aug. 1, during a regularly scheduled meeting. During the meeting, commissioners agreed to purchase limestone for unpaved roads, and awarded two contracts connected to road repaving in the county.
