Camden jail leader to retire

Five Camden County Sheriff’s Office corrections officers have been arrested since November 2022, and now the jail’s administrator has retired. Maj. Rob Mastroianni Sr., 67, who led the jail during a tumultuous time, said he retired in July after more than 30 years in law enforcement.

County commissioners select Woodbine library board members

The Camden County Board of Commissioners rejected an effort to expand the numbers of members on the Woodbine Public Library Board of Trustees and selected five members to the newly constituted board July 18 during its regularly scheduled meeting.
