Planning director leaves city post, takes new base job

St. Marys Community Development Director Kenneth Hughes has resigned his city post to take a job with Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
The open position has been posted online already, and City Manager Robby Horton said the timeline to fill the job is about three months.
