McCOLLUM – Ann Brockington McCollum, 70, of Waverly, Ga., passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022.
She was born Feb. 18, 1952, to the late John Bailey Brockington Sr. and Emma Katherine Palmer Brockington. Ann attended Horse Stamp Methodist Church. She retired from Camden County Board of Education after years of being a school bus driver.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Timothy McCollum, and six siblings, Katherine Loree Miller, John Bailey Brockington Jr., Peggy Elaine Black, Joseph Daniel Brockington Sr., Troy Glen Brockington and Marvin Clayton Brockington.
She is survived by four siblings, Jenny Lovell (Brian), Lonnie Brockington (Dot), Lucille Brant (Billy) and Roy Lynn Brockington (Sonja), and numerous nephews and nieces who adored her.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.
