Edmond Linton Banister, 70, of Statesville passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Born on Oct. 18, 1951, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Emory Laumont Banister and Edith Virginia Murdaugh Banister.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Nicholson Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home with Bishop Charlie Lloyd officiating.
