Leslie Jenkins Bryant, 51, of Kingsland passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at home under the care of Heartland Hospice of Brunswick.

She was born Oct. 16, 1970, to George Jenkins Sr. and the late Janie M. Jenkins in St. Marys. Leslie received her education at Camden County High School and graduated in the class of 1988. She was a member of the Wheeler Street Church of God, where she served faithfully as the photographer/videographer and performed administrative duties for the church.

Leslie had a very successful career as a cosmetologist from 1991–2004. She took much love and pride in owning her salon, Imaginations Hair Salon, where she gained many faithful clients. She also took up photography which started out as a hobby but became a profession. Leslie really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 

Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, Janie M. Jenkins.

Those left to cherish her memories include her loving and devoted husband of 17 years, David Bryant;  one daughter, Jalaina Montgomery of Kingsland; two sons, Justin Mobley of Atlanta and Dylan Bryant of Kingsland; a stepson, David Rivers of Wilmington, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Makenzie Montgomery and Nevaeh “Miss Mittens” Montgomery; three sisters, Sara Deneen (Michael) McCoy of Macclenny, Florida, Melissa Jenkins of Atlanta and Victoria Dawson of Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers, George Jenkins Jr. of St. Marys, Dwain (Andrea) Addison of Natchez, Mississippi and Shawn (LaShonda) Marsh of Kingsland; mother-in-law, Joann Bess of Jacksonville, Florida; sister-in-law, Stacie (Timothy) Bryant of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers-in-law, Carey (Michella) Bryant of Huntsville, Alabama, and Allen Bryant of Jacksonville, Florida; special friends, Tomeka Livingston and Shirelle Lewis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  A viewing will be held 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Wheeler Street  Church of God, 900 Wheeler Street, St. Marys, GA 31558.

Everyone planning to attend services is asked to wear a mask to aid in the prevention and spread of Covid-19.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
