DAMMOND — Camilla Michelle Pearson Dammond was born Dec. 25, 1969, in Yulee (Nassau County), Fla., to the late Pearson and Lemon Dawson. She was educated in the public schools of Camden County. At an early age, she was converted and baptized as a member of Zion Sisters Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Camden County Chapter #191 Order of the Eastern Stars.

On Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, Camilla departed this life for a new home of eternal peace and rest.

Besides her mother and grandparents, those preceding her in death are two brothers, Frederick Dawson and Taurus Dawson.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Anthony Dammond Sr.; three children, her loving and devoted daughter, Destiny Roberts, and two loving sons, Anthony Dammond Jr. and Anthony Dammond III; grandchildren, David Coleman, Demetrius Coleman (Demi), Brayden Dammond, Ja’Quan Roberts, Kahmari Randall, Janae Parrish and Syrai Dammond; father, Lemon Dawson; brothers and sisters, Theresa Smith, William (Elizabeth) Pearson, Cameron (Anetra) Pearson, LeMon Dawson, Corey (Kosena) Dawson, Chester (Brenda) Harris, Priscilla (Vincent) Miller, Derrick (Flossie) Dawson, Samantha Dawson and Mindi (Roderick) Dawson-Gardner; goddaughter, Shanell Wilkerson; god-brothers, Daryl (Susan) Dawson and Michael Dawson; special great-aunt, Agnes Scipio; devoted friends, Natalie Shivers, Shameka Roberts and Kenya Anderson; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 18, 2022.

Sunset Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
