LeShad "Shad" Dandre Cohen, 29, of St. Marys passed away Nov. 8, 2021, at his residence.

Shad was born on April 18, 1992, in Brunswick to Jimmie and Dena Cohen. He moved to St. Marys in 2005. He was a people person, never met a stranger, loved his family dearly and enjoyed coordinating family gatherings and traveling. He was a member of First African Missionary Baptist Church of Kingsland.

Shad is survived by his parents, Jimmie Lee Cohen Jr. and Dena Cohen, St. Marys; a brother, Tyree Cohen, St. Marys; grandparents, Almarie Hutcherson, Brunswick, Fostina Mitchell, St. Marys and Mary

Cohen, Brunswick; aunts and uncles, Vivian Mitchell, Audrey Easterling, Cheryl Cohen, Eureka Lawrence, Vinson Wynn, Joseph Evans, David Williams, Calvin Cohen (Lisa), Jimmie Cohen (Mia), Dwight Whing; and numerous other

relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alonzo Hutcherson, Clarence Mitchell and Jimmie Cohen Sr., and his Aunt Beverly Whing.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.
