Dale Keith Johnson, 62, entered into his Heavenly home on Nov. 20, 2021.
Dale was born on July 23, 1959, and has lived in Camden County all of his life. He went to Camden County High School and Troop Technical College in LaGrange, where he earned a certificate in welding. He was a heavy equipment operator by trade. Dale was an avid fisherman, hunter and a true outdoorsman. He was a protector over the ones he loved and will be missed by all of those who loved him.
He was a loving, son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, daughter Natasha VanWey of St. Marys, stepdaughter Tiffany Hamilton of Kingsland, stepson Gabe Hamilton of St. Simons Island, brother Gene Johnson of St. Marys, sister Joan Wilson of LaGrange, grandchildren Colten, Brenleigh, Kendra, Marissa, Freya and Gunner, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He has been preceded in death by his mother and father, Elmer and Geneva Johnson, brother Gary Johnson and sister Donna Johnson.
A visitation/celebration of life will be held 10-11:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.
Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
