June Salone Owens Baylor, 83, of St. Marys, Ga., passed away at her residence Aug. 13, 2022.
June was born Dec. 21, 1938, to the late Leon and Velva Wilson Owens. She was of the Baptist faith.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts and decorating, and she loved the color gold. She loved her family, spending time with them and helping others.
She is survived by her daughters, Terri Broxton (Wayne) of St. Marys, Ga., and Cynthia Lumpkin (Mark) of Bonifay, Fla.; two sisters, Claudia Stout and Eula Hightower (Pat), both of Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren, Tracie Bartlett (Ken) of St. Marys, Ga., Teresa Thomas, of Cottondale, Fla., Mark Lumpkin Jr. (Shawna) of Bonifay, Fla., and Richard Broxton Jr. of Bonifay, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Paige, Kaleb, Kyle, Jacob, ShyAnne, Kori, Owen and Ellie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Baylor; daughter, Sherial Thomas; and siblings, Ponce DeLeon Owens, Harriett Thomas and Verna Tisdale.
No services are to be held at this time.
