Mike Alexander Kives, 93, of Kingsland passed away at Senior Care Center in St. Marys.
Mike was born in Albany, Louisiana on June 25, 1928, to the late Alexander and Julia Kives. He served in the United States Navy and was a foreman at a mill in Snowflake, Arizona. He was the owner of Hwy. 40 Flea Market in Kingsland. He enjoyed farming, gardening and being on his tractor. He was active and loved life to the very end.
He is survived by his brother, John Kives, and a special friend, Rosa Mae Seals, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Maydee Peeples Kives, siblings, Alexander Kives, Julia Kives, Joseph Kives and Julius Kives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Allison Memorial Chapel with Terry Brown officiating. Visitation will be at 10 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
