JOHNSON — Marjorie Haney Johnson passed away Oct. 1, 2022, in St. Marys, Ga., after a short battle with medical issues.

Marjorie Haney Johnson was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Boggy Depot, Okla. Marjorie grew up around Ardmore and married Franklin James Haney. They moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, and then to Venice, Calif. Upon retirement, Frank and Marjorie returned to the Ardmore area, where she remained until relocating to St. Marys, Ga., in 2000 to be near family.

Marjorie was a loving wife and mother to four children, Ronald Dean of St. Marys, Ga., Joseph Edward of Merritt Island, Fla., Daniel Troy (deceased) of Ardmore, Okla., and Marianne Hershiser of Taos, N.M. She had five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Marjorie will be interred with her husband, Franklin, in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore, Okla. A memorial service will be held in Oklahoma at a later date.
