Ms. Dorothy Jean Newton-Johnston, 91, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at her home in Kingsland.
Ms. Newton-Johnson was born on March 23, 1931, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Lawrence and Rena Waits. Memorialization was by cremation and there will be no funeral at her request.
Ms. Newton-Johnson is survived by her grandsons, Scott and wife, Stephanie Gay of Kingsland, and Ryan Deutsch of Atlanta; and her great-grandson, Austin, and wife, Caitlin Gay of Kingsland.
Besides her parents, she also was preceded in passing by her daughters, Paige LeBlanc and Leigh Deutsch.
Coastal Camden Funeral home in Kingsland is entrusted with Ms. Newton-Johnston’s arrangements.
