Mrs. Angela Jo Oglesby, 71, of Nahunta died early Monday morning at her residence after an extended illness. Born and raised in Waycross, she lived in St. Marys during her husband's career, but upon his retirement they settled in Brantley County. She will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Cyril Dees and Alma Summerall Dees; one brother, Sam Dees; and one sister, Connie Stone.
Mrs. Oglesby is survived by her husband, Donald Oglesby of Nahunta; two children, Amy Lloyd and her husband, David, of St. Marys and Lennie Oglesby of Nahunta; six grandchildren, Angelica McFarlin and her husband, Vincent, Ryan Crauthers, Ayron Moleen, Brooke Moleen, Oision Mullis, Taylin Dickerson; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Klause; one sister, Laura Dees; and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 at Laura Walker Park, Group Building No. 1.
