Barbara Ann Woodward Register, 70, of Folkston passed away Monday morning, March 14, 2022, at UF Health Shands in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born in Augusta, her parents were Charlie Venton Woodward and Mary E. Hamn Woodward. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charlie Mack Register, and a sister, Mary Joe Vaughn.
Barbara worked as an LPN for Georgia Regional Medical in Gracewood. She was a caring nurse and retired after 39 years. She loved cats, history, horror movies and the beach.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Marie Marr (Michael Wade) of Folkston; four grandchildren, Johnny Keith Register, Ann Marie Watts, James Christopher Watts Jr. and Michaela Renee Marr; two great-grandchildren, Finley Elise Ison and Micah Lee Ison; and a brother, Roger Woodward of Waynesboro. Also, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, handled the arrangements.
