Glenn S. Segars, 70, departed this earth on Jan. 26, 2022 in Brunswick.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Terry Segars; children, Michael and Phillip Segars; two grandchildren, Sophia and Bentley; a sister, Anne Hochreiter; a brother, Richard Wheeler; nieces and nephews, Tommy Sings, Tammy Robinson, Christopher Hochreiter, Tina Cheek, Jackie Welsh, Rebecca Decosta and Matthew Wheeler; great nephews, Jesse and Jayden Sings; a sister-in-law, Karen Sings; and numerous extended family members.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Cocker Segars and Susan Germaine Hulsey.
He was a 1969 high school valedictorian upon graduation. He earned a mathematics degree and performed in nuclear operations for the U.S. government over a 33-year period.
A visitation was held from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
