PITZER – Sharon Lee Kern Pitzer, 81, of Woodbine, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 26, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Danville, Ill., her parents were Cecil Kern and Ruby Alpers Kern. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arthur Pitzer Sr.; son, Robert Pitzer Jr.; and brother, Jack Kelso.
She worked as a cosmetologist for many years and retired from General Electric. After her retirement, she worked as a cashier for IGA and Friendly Express. She also loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Pitzer (Kimberly Daniels) and Tony Pitzer (Donna); two daughters, Lisa Debruyn and Tammy Doyle; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;’ and several other relatives and friends.
No services will be held at this time.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta.
