BOUDREAUX — Stephen Michael Boudreaux, 73, of St. Marys, Ga., went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sept. 10, 2022.

He was born Oct. 8, 1948, in Biloxi, Miss., the son of the late Hector Joseph Boudreaux and Minnie Jo Smith Boudreaux.

Steve is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Vivian Davis Boudreaux; brother, Daniel Boudreaux; sister, Sandra Boudreaux; daughter, Piper Boudreaux Moore; son, Stephen Michael Boudreaux Jr.; daughter-in-love, Kelly Boudreaux; and five grandchildren, Christian, Abigail, Anastasia, Addison and Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rebecca Howell.

Steve and Vickie moved to St. Marys, Ga., in early 2000 to begin their retirement adventures and build their dream home, which soon turned into so much more. Steve, much like his father in Heaven, was a father to the fatherless and a friend to all he came in contact with. He was always making it a point to check in on those around him and make sure they were doing well.

A proud Cajun, Steve was always one to bring joy and life to any event. He was an avid golfer and most happy out with his son, grandson and all his buddies, Kurt, Bruce, Frank, Karl, David and all the guys out at Laurel Island Links Golf Course and Kings Bay golf course.

He also took time to mentor and teach his skills to others by starting a tile and flooring business. Jon Bunten was his longtime apprentice and will be helping to continue on his business and love of creativity in homes with Steve’s daughter, Piper.

Please join us for a celebration of life, which will be 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Allison Memorial Chapel.
