Jesse Morgan Williams, 84 of Kingsland, Ga passed away on Jan. 11, 2022 at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Jesse was born on Nov. 5, 1937, in Stilson to the late Jasper Kelly and Laura Lee Williams. He had lived in Bulloch County and then moved to Camden County in 1983. He served in the United States Army. In earlier years, he had worked for the Ford Company in Atlanta where he retired. He then worked at his family farm in Statesboro and later owned and operated Williams Construction here in Camden County. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in St. Marys and a member of the Steffens Coffee Club. He enjoyed working and helping others. Most of all he loved the Lord and his family.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Marsha Williams of Kingsland; a son, Shawn Lewis of Atlanta; daughters, April Smith of Stockbridge, Zina Riner (Joe) of Vidalia, Kelly Dubose (William) of Woodbine and Emily Vigil (Johnny) of Kingsland; grandchildren, Cassi, Amanda, Brad, Holly, Andrew, Katelyn, Kayla, Cayden, Adryen, Lawsyn and Brooklyn; and great-grandchildren, Gracie, Chase, Rhett, Sadie and another on the way. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers C.J. Williams and Jimmy Williams, a sister, Thetis Bell, and a son, Danny Williams.

A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at Allison Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14 at New Hope Baptist Church in St. Marys with Bro. George Anderson and Bro. Don Schunck officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnwood Cemetery, Kingsland.

Allison Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
